Paw House Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 5 November 2024
All owners are required to agree to these terms and conditions before their pet can be accepted at Paw House. By signing this document, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of the following:
Health of the Pet: The owner certifies that the animal(s) being boarded are in good health. Owners must disclose any known medical conditions or requirements prior to boarding.
Vaccinations and Hygiene: All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, worming, tick, and flea treatments. A photo of the vaccination booklet must be provided to Paw House. Dogs must arrive in a clean condition.
Required Vaccines: Rabies, Leptospirosis, DHPP (Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza)
Highly Recommended Vaccine: Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Although not mandatory, the Bordetella vaccine is highly recommended due to the increased risk of airborne diseases in social settings such as a dog hotel.
Liability: While every effort is made to ensure the well-being of all animals, Paw House is not liable for illness, injury, pregnancy, loss, damage, or death of any pet or their belongings during their stay. Boarding is entirely at the owner’s risk.
Veterinary Authorization: Paw House is authorized to seek veterinary care for your pet in case of illness or injury. Whenever possible, we will use the pet's registered vet, but in an emergency, we reserve the right to select an alternative vet. Veterinary and transportation costs are the responsibility of the owner.
Unneutered Dogs: Paw House accepts both neutered and unneutered dogs. Owners of unneutered dogs acknowledge the potential risk of pregnancy and agree that Paw House is not liable for related incidents.
Veterinary Records: Paw House is authorized to contact your veterinary practice to verify your pet’s health and treatment history if needed.
Insurance: Paw House does not provide pet insurance. Owners are responsible for any medical costs incurred while their pet is in our care, including transport expenses.
Tick Removal: If ticks are found, they will be safely removed. Should additional treatment be required, we will consult with you or your emergency contact and involve a vet if necessary.
Emergency Contact: Owners must provide a minimum of one emergency contact who can take responsibility for the pet if circumstances prevent continued boarding at Paw House (e.g., health or behavior concerns). Full booking fees apply, regardless of early transfer to the emergency contact.
Personal Items: Bedding, toys, medication, and other personal items left with the pet are at the owner’s risk. Paw House is not liable for damage or loss of these items.
Food and Supplies: Owners must provide enough food for their pet’s stay. Additional costs will be charged if food runs out. Optional items such as leashes, toys, and bedding may be provided by the owner to help pets settle.
Medication: Reasonable efforts will be made to administer medication as directed. Any required veterinary support for medication administration will be charged to the owner.
Booking Adjustments: Early pickups or booking adjustments will be credited toward future stays.
Payment: Payment is due upon arrival unless otherwise arranged. Pets will not be released until payment is received in full. Long-term stays over 30 days may be paid in monthly installments.
Peak Periods: Additional charges may apply during peak periods such as Songkran, Christmas, and New Year.
Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Verbal or physical abuse towards staff or animals is grounds for immediate termination of services.
Aggressive Behavior: Owners must disclose any aggressive tendencies. Paw House reserves the right to refuse service to aggressive pets or to require their removal at the owner’s expense if they pose a risk to staff or other animals.
Operating Hours: All customers must adhere to Paw House’s opening hours: Monday – Sunday, 8:00 am – 7:00 pm. Out-of-hours services may be available upon request and incur an additional fee.
Late Collection: Owners must notify Paw House of any collection delays. Paw House reserves the right to decline extension requests.
Transfer of Responsibility: Pets remain under the owner’s responsibility until they are officially checked in by Paw House staff. Pets are to be handed to a staff member upon arrival.
No Visitation: Pets will not be allowed visitors during their stay unless removed from the premises. Reentry is only allowed during opening hours.
Photography: Paw House may use photos of pets for promotional purposes on its website or social media. If you prefer to opt out, please inform us in writing.
Uncollected Pets: In the event a pet is not collected within 7 days of the due date and communication has not been returned by the owner, Paw House reserves the right to rehome the pet.
Changes to Terms: Paw House reserves the right to add, change, or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
